Danza de los Murcielagos (2015)

My Co-Directed SCAD MFA Thesis film done with fellow Animation Grad student and close friend, Katie Olson. 

 

Danza de los Murcielagos,  or Dance of the Bats, follows two adolescent Mexican bats as they court eachother throught the tradition of the Jarabe Tapatio Dance. We were greatly inspired by aesthetic styles of Alibrejes and Oaxacan folk art.
